Journal sketch: Spring

Journal sketch for ~glaciethewolf.

I redrew this quite a few times. XD I'm happier with the sketch now though.

The story behind this is Dream and Jewel's first meeting. Dream was wandering around the forest, just looking for something to do. He then caught sight of a young albino fox up in a tree, picking the flowers in the tree. Perplexed, Dream walked closer. He called up to her, asking if she was alright. She replied quietly that she was fine. Dream was a bit concerned that she would fall, so he quickly climbed up the tree to watch over her. He introduced himself to her, and she shyly replied back with her own name. Dream continued to talk, trying to get a conversation going. It was a bit of a challenge and it took a little while, but Jewel eventually became comfortable enough to talk back.



I'm now realizing that I messed up on the perspective of the characters. My apologies. D:

I know it might be a little challenging to see, but I hope you like Jewel's design. ^^ I had a lot of fun drawing her. I actually had quite a bit of a challenge drawing Dream. It was probably the perspective that was throwing me off.
